What Does Chartered Mean?

What does “chartered”mean?

  • The CII’s title Chartered Financial Planner is a widely accepted ‘gold standard’ qualification for professional financial planners and financial advisers in the United Kingdom.  By definition, holders of the Chartered Financial Planner qualification are among the most experienced and most qualified advisers in the profession.
  • The chartered qualification is equivalent to a degree level qualification in financial services
  • To achieve Chartered Status an adviser has to pass numerous exams across all aspects of financial planning while also continually maintaining A Continuous Professional Development (CPD) log of self study, wider reading, training courses and technical presentations

  • You can be confident that our technical and professional knowledge and competence is supported by completing professional qualifications.
  • We keep our knowledge and skills up-to-date through continuing professional development.
  • All Green Lane Financial Planning Staff must be members of the Personal Finance Society and comply with its Code of Ethics, which is enforced through disciplinary sanctions.
  • Maxine’s Chartered title means a lot to us. It was not easily achieved, and it takes continuous investment in customer service and commitment to professionalism to maintain.

What’s next?

  • Maxine is very close to achieving the ultimate financial services qualification of Fellow
  • Sarah has achieved Diploma status and is working towards Chartered Status.
